Scenic Rivers Energy Cooperative purchases wholesale electric energy from Dairyland Power Cooperative, based in La Crosse, WI. Dairyland Power Cooperative (DPC) is a generation and transmission cooperative (G & T) jointly owned by Scenic Rivers Energy Cooperative and 25 similar electric distribution cooperatives and 19 municipal utilities, which in turn supply the electrical needs of more than half a million people in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan and Illinois.
